The litter that triggered me: How big corporations dictate how we should live

If we can't see that we're being duped by a narrative of comfort, ease and sensory overstimulation, then this puts us into a very vulnerable place.

This KFC bag tells us everything we need to know. That these big corporations don't have our wellbeing at the forefront.

Yes, rest is important. Yes, we can't thrive in a constant go go go mode. But, there's something about large "food" corporations telling us what rest should look like, what fun should look like, and what re-energising should look like.

Real restoration and nourishment, the kind that sustains us and supports us, comes in the form of:

  • Sunshine + fresh air

  • Real food

  • Adequate sleep

  • Daily movement

  • Real human connections
